About the Author Edward Harper is a former journalist and career diplomat, who served in Warsaw, Lagos, Ankara, Madrid, Vienna, Munich, and East and West Berlin. He holds State Department fluency ratings in French, German, and Spanish, and he has published six suspense novels and a memoir. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
