The format and the narratives both contribute to easy understanding. Supplemental text boxes are numerous, but not distracting, and captioned photos/illustrations complement the texts without overpowering them. Through the publisher's website, readers can access video clips, quizzes, slideshows, etc. The "Write a Biography" section at the end of each volume should aide in school projects and encourage critical-thinking and research skills.
