If Twilight and The Angel Wars had a baby, Hunting Love would be it. At the same time, it's like nothing I've ever read before, if that makes any sense. It starts off with a teenage girl named Love Jones, who, at first, just appears to be a lovesick dreamer addicted to her fantasies, but you soon realize that she's actually a very focused and driven student of supernature, and the victim of a paranormal curse, that she's trying desperately but logically to "cure".

As soon as you wonder what the curse actually is, you immediately see it kick into full effect, with people going nuts over her, suddenly chasing her down and trying to kill her as soon as they see her, either because they are under the metaphysical delusion that she owes them sex, or because they are under the metaphysical delusion that she will take their sexual interest away from them.

It's a unique curse, one in which only virgins, children, "sin-sacrificing-for-love" couples, and her small, immediate family are immune to, and immediately following a gunfire nightmare at an abandoned golf course, Love takes off on her journey to the great beyond, to find the mystical place that will cure her curse, according to her secret book.

So we follow Love on her adventure, which, among other things, like child predators, car crashes, heroism, and hilariously entertaining social drama, leads her to the literal "man of her dreams", Hunter Jackson-- who she's had mysterious memories of her whole life, and yet she's never met him before in this life.

The story is interesting, both in romance, mystery, fantasy, passion, obsession, and social humor, but the major fantasy action and epic supernatural spectacle of this intense adventure really pick up at the 1st kiss. Then, suddenly, you're on a high octane rollercoaster ride that doesn't stop til you reach the end.
