"Das Wohltemperierte Klavier" BWV 846-893, is a collection of solo keyboard Preludes and Fugues in major and minor keys composed in 1722 by Johann Sebastian Bach. Johann Sebastian Bach (1685 - 1750) was a German musician and composer during the Baroque period. He based his work on existing German styles but often adopted and adapted textures, rhythms, and forms from other countries, especially from Italy and France.
