From the Author
I originally wrote Empire way back in 1998/99 on an old Psion Series 3 organiser while travelling around Asia, Australia and the Americas. Writing a 160,000 word novel on a mobile device was... well, let's just call it interesting.




Life happened, I moved to Ireland, had children, co-authored some best-selling business books. Meanwhile the manuscript for Empire languished, a digital prisoner on my hard-drives, until 15 years later my teenage daughters got wind of it and nagged me until I set it free.



I'm currently working on the second book in the series. Working with the characters again is like meeting up with a group of old friends. It's exhilarating... and I for one can't wait to find out what happens next.
