Bob Blake also known as “Dr. Bob” is a Singer/Songwriter (over 500 songs on CD Baby) Author of 17 books, (with more to come) He teaches Guitar/Songwriting/ukulele at the Broward County Community School in Coral Springs, FL Bob with the band THE RAMRODS FOUR has backed Stars like DEL SHANNON of Runaway fame, DANNY & THE JUNIORS (who sang At The Hop), JAN & DEAN (who had big hits with Baby Talk and Dead Man’s Curve), He has also been in shows with: DUANE EDDY, THE ANGELS, THE JIVE FIVE, THE G CLEFS, LINDA SCOTT, ADAM WADE, TOMMY BOYCE (of Boyce and Hart (the writers of The Monkee’s songs) & TOMMY MARA (who had a hit with the old standard Where the Blue of the Night Meets the Gold of the Day). At the present time he also runs “Dr. Bob’s” Musicians’ Showcase One Saturday a month at the Margate Library FL (Catherine Young Branch) from 2 to 4 P.M. a program that is FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
