Knygos aprašymas

Governance, Democracy and Conditionality is based on the proceedings of the international INTRAC workshop on 'Governance, Democracy, and Conditionality: What Role for NGOs?' which was held in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, from 4-6 June 1993. INTRAC organised the Amersfoort workshop in order to explore the concepts of democracy, governance and conditionality from an NGO perspective. Governance, Democracy and Conditionality contains four main sections. Section one is a thorough analysis of many of the issues addressed in the workshop. The second section contains three thematic papers. The third section contains the eight case studies from the workshop. The final section contains reports from the groups that discussed the issues raised in the thematic papers. Governance, Democracy and Conditionality discusses the role of NGOs in the new policy agenda concerning governance and conditionality.
