Land and finance were previously believed by housing scholars to constitute the only challenges to home ownership. Consequently, in most countries including Nigeria, very little attention was paid to the importance of behavioural, and lifestyle factors in home ownership. This book thoroughly examined the roles of four aspects of human behaviours namely: home ownership enthusiasm, marital trust; home ownership awareness; personal financial management skills, and lifestyle factors in determining home ownership among working class household particularly in developing economies with inefficient home mortgage finance system. Information in this book provides new scholarly understanding of the interactive influence of sociöeconomic, behavioural and lifestyle factors on home ownership.
