This book demonstrates political systems changes in Cambodia which have enabled a strong shift in land ownership and land right particularly after free economy market introduced in 1989. Land for development is a push factor to thrive economic growth, whilst land tenure is pull factor to secure ownership from being abuse by inappropriate development both in rural and urban area nationwide. While the study on sporadic and systematic there has been constraint, weaknesses observed. The observation reveals the practices of sporadic and systematic registration, features, progress, benefit provided regarding gender perspective, cross collective participation a mean to enhancing community solidarity and related laws. On the basis of analysis, the author finds a significant stumbling block to the provision of land tenure security to urban and rural residents through sporadic and systematic registration are largely the result of inappropriate regulatory frameworks, political interest group. Hence, this work should be useful for urban professional groups, suitable for people who intends to study on development in relation to land in developing country.
