The main goal is to achieve facial balance, and the development of orthodontic treatment is the balance between esthetic treatment, functionality and patient¿s aspirations. Many patients if given choice, despite of being costly would still opt for an appliance that is invisible, and at the same time which provides good quality of treatment, which makes lingual orthodontics a valuable field for research and clinical practice.
