The population of sucking pests aphid, jassid, whitefly ranged between 9.20 - 56.40, 3.60 - 22.0, 1.40 -14.80 respectively and first appearance was noticed in 29th SMW whereas peak period was 36th , 37th and 38th SMW respectively. The first appearance of Earias vittella and Helicoverpa armigera from 32th and 33th SMW and reached its peak 39th and 37th SMW.Among all the insecticidal treatments chlorantriniliprole 18.5% SC recorded minimum fruit infestation by fruit borers and yield of treated plot is highest than other treated plot. Also all other treatments are found effective over untreated control.The highest net return of Rs. 35375/ha was achieved through chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC.
