Knygos aprašymas

Product Description The problems of determining the surface temperature and the surface heat flux, the capacity of the heat transfer coefficient from transient temperature measurements at one or more locations are frequently arising in many practical engineering contexts. These so-called inverse heat conduction problems (IHCPs) have been extensively studied over the last 30 years. This book starts with an up-to-date overview on the subject. It is mainly devoted to solvability criteria for IHCPs as well as efficient and stable solution methods like mollification methods, variational and iterative methods. About the Author The Author: Dinh Nho Hào was born 1961 in Thi xã Hà tinh, Hà tinh, Vietnam. From 1978-1983 he studied at the Applied Mathematics Department, Baku State University (former Soviet Union), and graduated with M. Sc. in Mathematics. Since 1984 he is a member of the Hanoi Institute of Mathematics, National Centre for Natural Science and Technology of Vietnam. He has been a DAAD Grantee at the Mathematics Department, Free University of Berlin (West) and obtained his Dr. rer. nat. degree in 1991 there. From 1993-1996 he has been with the Mathematics Department, University of Siegen, Germany and passed his habilitation in January 1996. Dinh Nho Hào has been a guest professor at the University of Siegen, Germany and at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rouen, France in 1996.
