A fundamental component of all wireless communication systems, the antenna is essential to their effective operation. There are many various types of antennas on the market, each with unique features. This book presents a miniaturized microstrip antenna for a satellite phone in lower earth orbit. With respectable performance, the suggested antenna is 66.3% smaller than a conventional circular patch antenna. Furthermore, the radiator plane adjustments are producing a true omnidirectional pattern. The antenna works in unlicensed spectrum band at 1600 MHz and is highly recommended for ISM band The compact size, reasonable gain, and monopole radiation pattern make this antenna suitable for the 1525 MHz band satellite phones. it suitable for applications in satellite and RADAR communications.
