Knygos aprašymas

This book proposes a Model-based Control (MBC) and a Model Predictive Control (MPC) for chlorine dosing of drinking water, wherein modelling, simulation, optimisation and control approaches are thoroughly addressed. Due to uncertainly water demand and chlorine residual constraint, a multiple- input multiple-output system utilising a multiple injections of pure gas chlorine, multiple mixing and chorine decay in drinking water distribution system, is established in Simulink Matlab 7.0.1 software to apply a variety control strategies. Data from real drinking water plant and distribution system are taken into account to simulate the proposed model, optimisation and control approaches for the practical outcome. Performance indexes are finally listed in this book to show the reliabilities of proposed control approaches compared to a conventional control strategy. Logical presentations to write Matlab codes and programs in the m-files are also addressed in the appendixes of this book. For correspondence, please email him at: abr_muslim@yahoo.com.
