Having started teaching people to fly before I was 18 years old, I went on to fly many different types of aircraft from light piston to Boeing 767/757/737 all over the world. I have over 16,000 flying hours and am an instructor and examiner in Flight Simulators, training corporate jet pilots.


I spent a great deal of time flying executive Jets in many challenging situations, some of which are related in the true story 'Never Answer to a Whistle'.


Because I have been in some unique situations, it will help me weave those into incredible fictional stories. My imagination is vivid and continually generates some great plots, my next book, 'Cold, Cold, Dish is about a drug-smuggling pilot (not me!) which is being worked on at the moment will be a cracker!


I am married with two children and live in Brighton in southern UK.

I
t was meant to be a simple task of repossessing an executive jet from Nigeria...

Mike became embroiled in a mess created by an English aristocrat involved in illegal currency dealing.

At the same time, Mossad agents were plotting the kidnapping of a Nigerian diplomat in Kensington.
To escape certain death from two groups of very angry Nigerians, Mike took off from Lagos International Airport, without permission, only to have the Nigerian Air Force waiting to shoot him down.

They didn't succeed but Mike was arrested in The Ivory Coast where he finally landed.

In a horrible twist, Mike's friends, two engineers who helped him escape, were jailed in Nigeria for two years.
