They need all of their scientific training to uncover the horrifying plot with dire consequences for the human race. About the Author Duncan Smith grew up in Nottingham, UK. Following a degree in Chemistry at Manchester University he worked as a research scientist for a large pharmaceutical company. In 1993 he moved to the United States to work for the leading biotechnology company, and after twenty-four years in the biopharmaceutical industry he left to fulfill his dream of writing a novel. He lives in Thousand Oaks, California with his wife, Beverley.
