Was God a woman before He was a man, as the archeological evidence suggests? Did da Vinci's realization of the feminine divinity make of him a Renaissance man? If so, why our continued denial of the Goddess? In this modern era, where theologians concur that God transcends all physical traits, why do we still find it blasphemous to refer to God as 'She'? The Myth: A Tale of the Be-ers and the Do-ers proposes that the volatile issue of God's gender is at the root of mankind's ongoing struggle for dominance, and is as old as civilization itself. It speaks of who we are, why we are here, and what's to become of us, prophesying the best-and worst-case scenarios, of which, it says, we are free to choose.
