About the Author Since 1958 Dr. Franz J. Dahlkamp worked as an economic geologist with several uranium mining companies in Germany and abroad. From 1974 to 1978 he was the head of worldwide uranium exploration for Uranerz. He discovered the Key Lake Deposit in the Athabaska Basin in 1975.
